After the success of the first ACM IKDD CODS in Delhi in March 2014,
which had more than 100 registered participants from academia and industry, we have planned for a larger event in 2015.
Like last year, the program includes key note talks by 5 distinguished speakers on different aspects of Data Science. This year the speakers are Jeff Ullman (Stanford University), Jim Hendler (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), Sarit Kraus (Bar-Ilan University), Madhav Marathe (Virginia Tech) and Rajeev Rastogi (Amazon).
The program for 2015 also includes invited talks by 5 student speakers, presentations for a Data Challenge on building A City Traffic Dashboard based on Social Network Data, and a whole day Industry Workshop featuring talks by various industry leaders on data science challenges in the industry.
At the core of the conference program is the Research Track. The Research Track received 81 complete submissions this year. Based on the recommendations of the Program Committee, 8 full papers, 7 short papers and 17 poster papers were accepted for presentation at the main conference. The proceedings will soon be available in the ACM Digital Library.
Registration is now open . The conference also has a Student Travel Grant for supporting students wishing to attend the conference.
