The Young Researchers' Symposium at CODS 2025 invites submissions from current students who have a track record of publishing. This is a unique opportunity for young scholars to receive feedback from mid-career and senior faculty. This is also an opportunity for young researchers to have fruitful peer-to-peer discussions and to get feedback from leading senior researchers about their current research work.
Submissions to the Young Researchers' Symposium (YRS) will be in the form of a 2-page extended abstract excluding references. We invite submissions on the topics that align with the CFP of the conference. We welcome many kinds of papers, including but not limited to: novel research papers, work-in-progress papers, appraisal papers of existing methods and tools (e.g., lessons learned). The expectation is that these papers will ultimately result in a conference or a journal paper. We thus discourage course projects and position papers. Low quality papers will be desk rejected without review.
The author of the submission should be a current undergraduate/postgraduate student. This track will follow a single-blind review process.
Authors of accepted papers will get a chance to present their work both as a poster and a quick lightning talk at the conference.
Submit your paper under the YRS track at: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/CODS2025
